Executive Vice President – Global Trading Platforms

Mr. Ware has over 27 years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Robert Van Securities, he spent 15 years in San Francisco with Bear Stearns in the private client services group for high-net worth clients. He began his career with Merrill Lynch in 1981. Mr. Ware completed his undergraduate studies at the University of San Francisco in Economics.

TIMOTHY O’BRIEN

Executive Vice President – Sales & Trading

Mr. O’Brien has over 24 years of experience in the sales, trading execution, and clearing of domestic equity and taxable fixed income products. Prior to joining Robert Van Securities in 1992, he was an assistant vice president for Sutro & Company and Dean Witter Reynolds, where he worked on BIS (Branch Institutional Sales) teams. Tim is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.S. in Social Science/Education.

DERIC BAGAROZZA

Senior Vice President – Institutional Equities

Mr. Bagarozza began his career in equities on the floor of the NYSE, in 1998 with Direct Brokerage Inc., a direct access execution firm which dealt exclusively with buy side institutions. After six years of steady performance, reaching the title of Head Sales Assistant, Mr. Bagarozza was recruited by Lehman Brothers in March of 2004 to play an integral role at Lehman Direct on the floor of the NYSE. In May of 2007, after three successful years as a sales trader for Lehman Direct, Mr. Bagarozza chose to take his sales talents to BGC Partners, Inc. to better serve his customer base.

DUDLEY BROWN

Senior Vice President – Manager, Chicago Office

Mr. Brown has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to Blaylock Robert Van, Mr. Brown founded Berean Capital, Inc., an institutional broker/dealer based in Chicago, in May of 1991. Mr. Brown served as President and CEO of the firm which offered equity execution, equity research, taxable fixed income execution and municipal bond underwriting. In June of 2005, Mr. Brown became CEO of Jackson Securities, LLC and served in that capacity until July, 2008. Mr. Brown began his career with Merrill Lynch in 1984. Mr. Brown completed his undergraduate studies at Denison University in Economics and earned his Master’s degree in Finance from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

ED TOLLEFSEN

Senior Vice President – Sales and Trading

Mr. Tollefsen has over 23 years of experience in taxable fixed income markets. His career began in 1980 as a money market trader at Seafirst National Bank where he advanced into a proprietary trading position in U.S. Treasuries, futures, and federal agencies. He has also performed Treasury bill / future trading for Crocker National Bank’s primary dealer. For fourteen years Mr. Tollefsen worked as a fixed income trader, strategist and in-house economist for Sutro & Co. in San Francisco, CA. A graduate of the University of Washington, Mr. Tollefsen holds a Bachelor degree in Economics.

JOSH GRANITE

Senior Vice President – Institutional Equities

Mr. Granite began his Wall Street career as a trader for RADAR Executions, on the floor of the NYSE, in September of 1995. After becoming a broker for the investment banking firm, Robertson Stephens, in August of 1998, he ascended to become the head broker for Trinity Trading Corp. in 2002. After successfully expanding Trinity’s customer base and revenue over the next several years, Mr. Granite left the floor of the NYSE so he could offer his customer base a more productive platform in the form of an institutional sales trader at BGC Partners Inc. He graduated with a B.A. from the University of Dayton in 1993.

ALAN R. JONES

Senior Vice President – Sales and Trading

Mr. Jones has over 30 years of experience in taxable fixed income markets and alternative investments. During the first 18 years, he worked with the sales and trading divisions at Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley in both New York and San Francisco. He then founded a venture capital company which specialized in advising and investing in early stage companies across various industries. More recently, he has held senior level positions at Utendahl Capital Partners and Aladdin Capital. Mr. Jones is a graduate of the Phillips Exeter Academy. He earned his BA from Dartmouth College and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
